These FAQs are designed to provide a better understanding of our cameras in pre-sale, and may even help you support them afterwards. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact us here.

NOTHING APPEARS ON THE SCREEN.

  1. Check if the camera and monitor’s powers are on. (Also, the voltage and polarity.)
  2. Check if the video-out terminal of the camera and the video-in terminal of the monitor are correctly connected.
  3. Check if the iris of the lens is open.

THE SCREEN SEEMS BLURRY AND DARKER.

  1. Adjust Contrast and Bright level in the menu.
  2. Check the setting of Image adjust in the menu.
  3. Check if there is any dusts or scratches on the camera window

THE IMAGE FOCUS IS NOT CORRECT.

  1. Adjust the camera lens either far or near to make focus.
  2. Check the camera window if any finger prints or dusts found.
  3. Please clean off the dusts and any unexpected stuff on the window.

THE IMAGE IS DISPLAYED AS COLORS AT NIGHT.

  1. Check the setting of Day & Night in the menu.
  2. Check if the surrounding lights are less than 5Lux.

THE IMAGE IS DISPLAYED AS B/W AT DAYTIME.

  1. Check the setting of Day & Night in the menu.
  2. Check if the surrounding lights are over 10Lux.
  3. Check if the Photoconductive sensor has dust or obstructed.

THE IR LED DOES NOT TURN ON AT NIGHT.

  1. Check the setting of Day & Night in the menu.
  2. Check if the surrounding lights are less than 5Lux.
